Bałtyk Tower opts for Swegon
POLAND – A modern office building in Poznań called the Bałtyk Tower and designed by Dutch architects from MVRDV has chosen Swegon to supply its air climate needs.
The building, which was formerly the site of the Bałtyk Cinema, will have 16 floors and a total office space of 18.000m2. The original cinema was in use from 1929 to 2002 and was sorely missed by local patrons after its closure, so, in a decision sure to please moviegoers, the investor now plans to bring the cinema back to the building.
Swegon will supply 19 GOLD air handling units with total air volume over 135.000m3/h and Condair humidifiers to the Baltyk Tower. The authorities hope that work on the tower will be completed is by the beginning of 2017.
