This annual readers’ choice awards program was designed to keep readers of the publication up to date with information on top new products in their fields.
Emerson claim that their Copeland Scroll variable speed commercial compressor and motor control drive helps achieve superior performance via a speed range that aims to deliver enhanced seasonal efficiency, as well as precise cooling and humidity control in a drive to increase comfort and reliability. The company boasts that their compressor is capable of delivering high quality low speed performance while also reducing sound cycle transitions. Emerson further state that the compressor’s variable speed motor control drive is optimized and its customized parameter settings should allow for quick and easy setup.

The Emerson products were among the prize winners featured in the September issue of the nationally distributed magazine, which has nearly 80,000 engineering subscribers. The compressor had also previously been selected as Product of the Year at the 2014 AHR Innovation Awards, sponsored by ASHRAE.
