Debating EPA Regulations at E360 Forum
USA – Following previous events held in California and British Columbia earlier this year, Emerson Climate Technologies have announced that they will host the third quarterly E360 Forum in Dallas to support its E360 platform. The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday 3rd September at 8:30 a.m in The Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport in Irving, Texas.
The E360 Forum is just one part of the company’s ongoing drive to stimulate meaningful HVACR industry dialogue and to enable customers address the many challenges they are confronted with today. The event has been specifically planned to follow on from the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) July announcement of the final ruling on its significant new alternatives policy (SNAP) regulation which is attempting to delist commonly used refrigerants in commercial refrigeration and AC applications.
The keynote speakers at the event will be David Henkes, Technomic vice president, and Dr. Rajan Rajendran, vice president of system innovation centre and sustainability at Emerson Climate Technologies. Henkes’ presentation will highlight what experts expect foodservice industry trends to be over the coming years. Dr Rajendran, commonly held to be one of the world’s foremost experts on refrigerants, will explore the far-reaching effects and consequences of the EPA’s final ruling on refrigerant delisting and how the industry will react to adapt to this ruling.
The afternoon will consist of interactive break-out sessions focusing on various industry trends, while each session will be divided into two distinct segments — foodservice and food retail — so as to give attendees the chance to discuss the issues that have the greatest impact on their business.
