Emerson to organize CO2 webinar
USA – The ever increasing interest in CO2 has led Emerson Climate Technologies to organize a webinar exploring the implications of a CO2-based refrigeration system.
In a press release, Emerson have said that the webinar will look at a CO2-based refrigeration system from the perspective of a service technician and the company hopes that the webinar will help technicians prepare to deal effectively with the refrigerant’s unique properties.
After obtaining favourable results from different system configurations, particularly those in Europe, Australia and Canada, Emerson have concluded that the initially high investment costs are now decreasing, while potential performance gains have been obtained through innovations in component technology and application methods.
“These results have ensured that CO2 will be a long-term option in the foreseeable future,” declared the US manufacturer.
The free web seminar, which is entitled Seven Keys to Servicing CO2 Systems, will take place between 7 and 8pm BST on Tuesday 14th of July.
Among the topics to be covered during the webinar are the following: dealing with the high pressure of R744; improving CO2 system efficiencies in warm ambient environments; understanding R744’s critical and triple points; dealing with power outages; coping with the standstill pressures of R744; preparing service technicians with the correct equipment; cylinder storage, best practices for charging and maintenance.
Andre Patenaude, director, CO2 business development of Emerson Climate Technologies will present the webinar.
