UK – Adande were the overjoyed winners of the refrigeration product of the year award on Thursday at the National ACR awards ceremony in Birmingham. The company scooped the award for their Matchbox system.

The jury revealed that the Adande Matchbox system with hydrocarbon refrigerant operates using R600a,  a non-toxic chemical compound, thereby demonstrating negligible ozone depletion characteristics and a very low global warming potential. The company also claims that models operating on hydrocarbon refrigerant are available at no additional capital cost.

Gram UK were highly commended by the jury for their Superior Plus 72 product while the other finalists included Blue Diamond for the Actik Blue Dairy Tray and A1 Engineering Solutions for their Emerald Hydrocarbon Glycol Plant.
