GERMANY – Bitzer, the German-based compressor specialist, has released a video to help users to operate their Bitzer Electronics Service Tool (BEST). The company also state that refrigeration and service engineers can now operate all Bitzer IQ products via their PC using the BEST software.

The short video is designed to help explain the BEST tool and its most important functions. Bitzer claim that the software provides users with an overview of the operating status, troubleshooting and maintenance of their products. BEST has been released in an attempt to lighten service engineers’ workload, with the company claiming that the software can be used to quickly and safely set device parameters, analyse errors or download and save data logs.

Bitzer have also revealed that the software is compatible with Varispeed reciprocating compressors, CSV compact screw compressors, Ecostar condensing units LHV5E and LHV7E, as well as the protection, monitoring and control devices SE-i1 and CM-RC-01.
