FRANCE – The French-based specialist in cooling fluids for refrigeration and air-conditioning, Climalife, has announced that it has launched a new, updated version of its mobile app, adding a “Leak Detection Frequency” module following requests from F-Gas Solutions users.

The company claimed that more than 7000 professionals have downloaded its mobile app to help them cope with the challenges arising from European regulation no. 517/2014, better known as F-gas II, which came into effect on the 1st of January 2015.

The app is currently available in 7 languages (French, English, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Hungarian) and can be downloaded via the apple store and also for android technologies via the Googleplay store.

The updated version of F-Gas Solutions now includes replacement solutions for R-22 in existing installations, the most recent fluids to have appeared on the market as well as a new module to help users find out the leak detection frequency for an installation. The company also claim that the updated version of the app will inform users of the dates on which existing refrigerants will be outlawed under the new F-gas law as well as the correct GWP value for refrigerants and the different types of refrigerants available for various applications.
