Danfoss open new regional service centre
GERMANY – Danfoss have announced that they are to open a new Regional Service Centre in April, 2016, near Frankfurt. The company claim that the opening of this service centre will act as proof of their committment to providing best-in class service and support for their customers in Europe. The company also revealed that this marked the first occasion they have bundled together service, aftermarket sales, and root cause capability for Turbocor Compressors on European soil.
Announcing the opening of the regional service centre, Ole Moller-Jensen, President of Danfoss in the Central European Region, commented “The service centre has a strategic importance for our customers and Danfoss. Offenbach is the ideal location for the Regional Service Center. Situated perfectly in the center of Europe, the city is less than 9km from Frankfurt. A city which hosts 65 million travelers annually, a highly skilled workforce, and advanced transportation systems.”
Danfoss hope that their new facility will pave the way towards providing high-level aftermarket sales and service for their customers, thereby making it easier for customers to do business with Danfoss. The company also expect that the facility will ultimately serve as a distribution centre for spare part sales with the goal of reducing lead-time for replacement parts.
Also commenting on the new centre, the president of Danfoss Cooling, Jürgen Fischer, remarked that “With this investment, the Offenbach site will offer preventive and corrective maintenance and aftermarket sales and service. Our European customers will be able to return compressors for repair within Europe, removing the need for those customers to carry high levels of inventory and spare parts. The proximity also allows synergies to be created between Danfoss and our customers, which include stronger communication and feedback.”
