In-situ monitoring product of year
UK – Mitsubishi Electric also won the award for the in-situ monitoring product of the year at last night’s National ACR awards ceremony in Birmingham. The group scooped the prize for introducing remote energy monitoring as a standard feature on their Ecodan range. This decision came into effect on the 19th of January in 2015 and swayed the jury into awarding Mitsubishi the product of the year gong.
The company further claim that every single Ecodan installed will now include remote energy monitoring, a move which should aid applications to Government initiatives as well as offering the capability to remotely commission, fault find and log performance using the MELCloud remote controller App.
The jury also disclosed that it had awarded Daikin UK (on behalf of Daikin Europe) a high commendation based on their high efficiencies of hybrid system.
